Avec plus de cinquante ans de carrière artistique, Massimo Agostinelli s'est imposé comme un professeur de théâtre bouffon de renommée internationale, ainsi qu'un chorégraphe et professeur de danse contemporaine respecté. Sa longue carrière d'enseignant l'a amené à collaborer avec des institutions prestigieuses telles que l'École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, la School of Toronto Dance Theater, la School of Dance (Ottawa), l'École de danse de Québec, l'École nationale de théâtre du Canada et l'École Clownesque Brimbalante, parmi tant d'autres. Pendant trente ans, il a été directeur artistique et chorégraphe de la troupe de danse contemporaine Tanz Danse au Collège Montmorency. Depuis 2004, il met également son expertise au service du Cirque du Soleil en tant que formateur en théâtre bouffon, en danse contemporaine et en improvisation, et comme coach artistique. Il a par ailleurs mis en scène deux spectacles pour le Cirque Éloize.
Outre ses réalisations dans le domaine des arts de la scène, Massimo possède plus de vingt ans d'expérience comme coach et conférencier international. Il a animé des ateliers en entreprise pour de grandes organisations telles que Disney, Red Bull, Bombardier, Ubisoft, COPEC, Enel Young Presidents Organization et bien d'autres sociétés de renom. Son travail a été présenté lors de conférences prestigieuses comme TEDx Lille, le Symposium asiatique de l'innovation et du marketing à Bangkok, Creative Melbourne, Créa France, Mosaic Lille et Mosaic Montréal HEC, Wigwam Conseil à Nantes, CREA Italia, Mindcamp Canada, Mindcamp Chili et le Creative Problem Solving Institute.
En 2017, l'École INIS a produit le court métrage documentaire primé « Le Ridicule Ne Tue Pas », réalisé par Nathanaëlle Vincent. Ce film met en lumière la pratique unique du bouffon de Massimo – de ses collaborations avec le Cirque du Soleil à sa troupe, le Bouffon de Bellefeuille – tout en offrant un aperçu du parcours personnel qui a fait de lui un expert du bouffon reconnu internationalement. De 2018 à 2020, Massimo a été représenté par ComedyCorp (siège social à Santiago, Chili), aidant les dirigeants à utiliser l'humour comme outil stratégique d'innovation, de productivité et de cohésion d'équipe en entreprise.
Plus récemment, Arte TV a diffusé un poignant épisode de cinq minutes diffusées récemment dans le cadre de sa série « Fragments », Massimo se remémore une amitié qui a profondément marqué sa vie. Au cœur de son récit se trouve Grant « Marcel » Heisler, un ami cher et mentor de bouffon, qui lui a confié son héritage artistique avant de succomber au sida.
Depuis 2021, Massimo travaille avec Les Talons Fous comme mentor et coach de bouffon pour leur spectacle « Madame Vous Déteste » et continuera de collaborer avec eux sur de futurs projets. Il a également participé au Festival du Clown de Montréal cette année et Juge pour Le Festival Fringe de Montreal. Aujourd'hui, à 68 ans, Massimo Agostinelli continue d'enseigner à l'international, partageant son approche unique avec les artistes comme avec les non-artistes.

With more than fifty years of artistic trajectory, Massimo Agostinelli has established himself as a distinguished international teacher of Bouffon theatre, as well as a respected choreographer and contemporary dance instructor. His extensive teaching career includes work with prestigious institutions such as L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, The School of Toronto Dance Theater, The School of Dance, L’École de danse de Québec, The National Theatre School of Canada, and L’École Clownesque Brimbalante, among many others. For thirty years, he served as artistic director and choreographer for the contemporary dance troupe Tanz Danse at Collège Montmorency. Since 2004, he has also contributed his expertise as a trainer in Bouffon, contemporary dance and improvisation and artistic coach for Cirque du Soleil and has directed two special events for Cirque Éloize.
Beyond his accomplishments in the performing arts, Massimo brings over two decades of experience as an international coach and speaker. He has led corporate workshops for major organizations including Disney, Red Bull, Bombardier, Ubisoft, COPEC, Enel Young Presidents Organization and many others reputable companies. His work has been featured at TEDx Lille, the Asian Symposium of Innovation and Marketing in Bangkok, Creative Melbourne, Créa‑France, Mosaic Lille and Mosaic Montréal HEC, Wigwam Conseil in Nantes, CREA‑Italia, Mindcamp Canada, Mindcamp Chile and the Creative Problem Solving Institute.

Since 2021, Massimo has been working with Les Talons Fous as mentor and bouffon coach on their show Madame Vous Déteste and will continue working with them for upcoming projects. He was also involved with the Montreal Clown Festival and Judge fore The Montreal Fringe Festival this year.
